[NEohioPAL] Auditions for THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE

The Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County will hold auditions for the
hilarious musical *The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee *on *Sunday,
August 25 *and *Monday, August 26 *beginning at* 7:00pm*. The theatre is
located at 466 Carrie Ave. NW, in New Philadelphia, Ohio.

The musical is a hilarious tale of the angst of young overachievers. The
show chronicles the experiences of six quirky, yet charming, adolescent
outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. The one place
where they can stand out and fit in at the same time is the Spelling Bee.

This is an adult musical with characters playing the parts of children.
Anyone ages 18 and up are encouraged to tryout. Roles are available for 4
females and 4 males with 1 older male non-singing role. The show runs the
last 3 weekends of October.

All who are auditioning should come prepared to sing a song of their
choice. Please bring your own sheet music or vocal track. An accompanist
will be provided. All who audition will also be asked to read from the
script.

The show is directed by Pat Potter and the Musical Director is Andy Potts.
