Cleveland, Ohio - Cleveland Ballet Youth Company is a newly formed dance
company in partnership with The Cleveland School of Dance, the official
school of Cleveland Ballet, which will feature classically trained young
dancers of exceptional talent. "We are looking for dancers with a ballet
focus ages 14yrs - 19yrs who are working to get to a professional
performance level," says Cynthia Graham, Artistic Associate. The Cleveland
Ballet Youth Company serves to prepare dancers for professional
performances by the Cleveland Ballet Company.

Performances are scheduled for September 28, October 19 and a December
performance 2013 and April 26, 2014. Company members will be required to
participate in rehearsals for these performances, however, this performance
schedule is subject to change.

The Auditions for the 2013/2014 season will be held this Saturday September
14 starting at 2pm at the studios of Cleveland School of Dance in
Cleveland, Ohio. The audition will be before a panel of three judges. There
is an audition fee of $25. Dancers wishing to audition must demonstrate
they have reached an advanced level of classical ballet training.

The audition will consist of a ballet class with pointe work
and possible choreography.  Please prepare to begin promptly at 2pm.
Dancers please wear pink tights, bring ballet technique shoes as well as
pointe shoes.
