Paul Taylor Dance Company to Perform Saturday, November 9th at 8pm in the
Ohio Theatre at PlayhouseSquare.

Returning to Cleveland for one night only, don't miss this chance to see
one of the world's favorite modern dance companies!

Choreographer Paul Taylor is the last living member of the pantheon that
created America's indigenous art of modern dance. At an age when most
artists' best work is behind them, Mr. Taylor continues to win public and
critical acclaim for the vibrancy, relevance and power of his creations.
Since his origins as a dance maker in 1954, Mr. Taylor offers observations
on life's complexities, tackling some of society's thorniest issues. His
dancers renowned for their movement invention, athleticism, cultural
commentary, and intricate musicality propel through space with sheer
beauty. Mr. Taylor has set movement to music so memorably that for many
people it is impossible to hear certain orchestral works and not think of
his dances. Some of the most known works include Medieval masses,
Renaissance dances, baroque concertos, classical symphonies, and scores by
Debussy, Cage, and Feldman. Paul Taylor Dance Company has proved to be a
favorite among modern dance lovers around the world!

Repertoire for this performance will include: *Mercuric Tidings*- a well
known work of Taylor,* Gossamer Gallants-* a more recent and funny piece
involving some busy bugs, & the all time favorite of many, *Esplanade*!
