DREAMCOAT” PERFORMED BY SCA’S SPOTLIGHT YOUTH THEATER STUDENTS *
SCA’s Spotlight Youth Theater will perform “Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat” on Thursday, December 5 (7:00 pm), Friday, December
6 (7:30 pm), Saturday, December 7 (7:30 pm) and Sunday, December 8 (2:00
pm). All performances will be held in the Calvetta Bros. Floor Show Theater
at Solon Center for the Arts.
This amateur production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,”
lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is the retelling of
the Biblical parable of Joseph and his coat of many colors. Joseph, his
father's favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is
sold into slavery by his jealous brothers, Joseph endures a series of
adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged.
The production is directed by Adina Bloom and Christine A. Madden, with
Musical Direction by Jeanine Waisala and choreography by Rachel Kapusta and
Audrey Leach. The cast includes students, grades 5 - 8, from Solon and
surrounding communities.

Tickets are going FAST and are $9 for Adults and $8 for students and
seniors. Tickets can be purchased in person at Solon Center for the Arts or
