Cleveland, OH - Cleveland Public Theatre presents The Loush Sisters DO the Nutcracker, a bawdy and hilarious evening of music, laughter and booze-fueled holiday merry-making.



The Loush Sisters DO the Nutcracker was created by Liz Conway, Michael Seevers, Jr. and CPT's Associate Artistic Director, Beth Wood.



The Loush Sisters DO the Nutcracker is a glittering cabaret-comedy-mashup, featuring irreverent renditions of traditional holiday songs with live accompaniment, comedic banter and whimsical dance breaks. Starring Beth Wood and Liz Conway as the martini-loving "Loush Sisters"-pronounced "loosh"-are, in the words of Holly (Beth Wood) and Jolly (Liz Conway) "like 'loose' and 'lush'...but fancy." The naughty-but-nice musical act features everything from holiday favorites "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and "Deck the Halls" to "Sisters" (from Irving Berlin's White Christmas) and "Personal Jesus" (Depeche Mode).



The Loush Sisters DO the Nutcracker cast includes Dionne Atchison, Liz Conway, Melissa Therese Crum, Sheffia Randall Dooley*, Ryan Edlinger, Vincent Ester (accompanist), Dan Kilbane, Val Kozlenko, Amy Schwabauer and Beth Wood.

Creative team includes Lauren Calevich (Stage Manager), Jenniver Sparano (Costume Designer), Richard Ingraham (Sound Designer), Jeff Lockshine (Lighting Designer) and Beth Wood (Set Designer). The production is directed by Beth Wood (with Liz Conway and Michael Seevers, Jr.), with musical direction and choreography by Michael Seevers, Jr.



The Loush Sisters DO the Nutcracker opens at CPT on Friday, November 29 and runs through Saturday, December 21 at CPT's historic Gordon Square Theatre, 6415 Detroit Avenue in Cleveland's Gordon Square Arts District.



Performances are 7:30 pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Mondays. Opening night reception is Friday, November 29 with free food and drinks after the show.



Tickets are $18 - 36.

Premium tickets are $26 (Thur/Mon/Sun) and $36 (Fri/Sat), includes cabaret seating and table service.

General admission is $18 (Thur/Mon/Sun) and $28 (Fri/Sat).

Group Discounts available. The Loush Sisters love a party! Groups of 8 or more receive $5 off each ticket plus a free drink per person.



Every Friday is FREE BEER (and wine, too!) FRIDAY at CPT. Audience members are invited to mingle with the artists after the show and enjoy a drink or two on CPT.
