Led by Caitlin Elizabeth Reilly (see bio below), these classes are designed to meet the dancer/performer at their level and guide them to the next stage of proficiency.
MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE PERFORMANCE*

Ages 10+
January 8 - March 7
Wednesdays, 7:00pm-8:30pm
and
Fridays, 4:30pm-6:00pm

Each week the student will immerse themselves in the history, influences and technique surrounding the choreography and choreographers of different Broadway musicals in a professional rehearsal setting.
MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE AUDITION TECHNIQUE
Ages 10+
January 10 - March 7
Fridays, 3:30pm-4:30pm
Learn how to quickly retain choreography and shine in an audition environment. From proper dance wear to the right routine, this class will give you the confidence needed to book any job.
INTRO TO MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE FOR THE LIVING ROOM PERFORMER
Ages 18+
January 8 - March 5
Wednesdays, 1:00pm-2:30pm
Want to move like Fred Astaire? This class exposes students to various styles of Musical Theatre Dance in a non-threatening environment with a focus on fitness, agility and fun!
INTRO TO MOVEMENT FOR THE PERFORMER 1 and 2
1: Ages 8-13 / 2: Ages 14+
January 8 - March 5
1: Wednesdays, 3:30pm-4:45pm / 2: Wednesdays, 4:45pm-6:15pm
Utilizing Viewpoints, Alexander Technique and Laban exercises, this class will aid the actor/singer in developing onstage physical awareness and specificity that translates into strong choices.
TUITION
Tuition for all classes is $100. A $25 TrueNorth Membership paid annually for individuals ($70 for families) is required at time of registration. *Musical Theatre Dance Performance tuition is $150.

Caitlin is very excited to be joining TrueNorth Cultural Arts to cultivate a collaboration in movement and theater for the community. Caitlin is an Equity actress who recently moved to Ohio after ten years as a working actress and choreographer in New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Boston and various other regional theater communities. A graduate of the University of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Musical Theater, Caitlin has been working in professional theaters for over 21 years.  She recently played Elle Woods in Legally Blonde at Beck Center and Aldonza in Man of La Mancha at TrueNorth. She has choreographed locally for Beck Center, TrueNorth, Olmsted Falls High School, and Above The Barre in Berea (where she is a member of the dance faculty). Caitlin's dance training comes from Pittsburgh CLO Academy, Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts, Broadway Dance Center and UArts. She has trained in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Modern, and Musical Theater Styles (particularly Fosse with teacher, Scott Jovovich).
