SEEKING:



Along with the 4 listed roles below we are looking for *extras and special
extras* for multiple group scenes to be filmed in both Akron and Wooster,
Ohio.  These scenes include scenes of touch football game, club crowd,
community theater audience, street scenes, supermarket, etc.  We invite a
variety of ages, types, ethnicities, etc. to send headshots/portrait
photos, resumes (if available) and which locations you could commit to
(Akron, Wooster or both/either) to auditions.akronthefilm at gmail.com.  We
will reply by email with further information.

Arts Alliance*.



*BENNY CRUZ:*

18. Healthy, fit gay Mexican-American college freshman studying pre-med.
Always the “best boy”, top of his class, sports teams, a positive thinker,
never trouble. But also reluctant to take chances, assert himself and
disrupt the status quo. His first serious love relationship makes him
question his relationship to his family and to himself. *(Actor must be
comfortable with male to male kissing and partial nudity.)*



*CHRISTOPHER WELLING:*

18.  White, gay, fair-haired college freshman.  Free-spirited, and charming
though lacking in serious focus or goals. A new love relationship
challenges his usual manner of charm and manipulation and asks him to think
of another before himself.  *(Actor must be comfortable with male to male
kissing and partial nudity.)*



*JULIE:  *

18.  Asian.  Bubbly, slightly nerdy college freshman studying pre-med.
She’s cute and slight and full of energy and a great friend to Benny.



*JOHN:*

21-23. Tall, lanky white college junior.  Good-natured, quiet.  Boyfriend
of Julie.
