[NEohioPAL] Audition notice for Renaissance Performing Arts in Mansfield, Ohio

The Renaissance Theatre, Mansfield, Ohio, announces auditions for their
April 2014 production of *Young Frankenstein: The Musical*:*The New Mel
Brooks Musical*. Auditions will be held Saturday, Feb. 8th from 10am-1pm at
the Renaissance Theatre, 138 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, Ohio. Please
prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre-style song and be prepared to read
from the script. Rehearsals begin March 6th, with performances April 4th, 5

Based on the hilarious 1974 Mel Brooks/ Gene Wilder hit film, *Young
Frankenstein: The New Mel Brooks Musical* is a spoof of horror movies in
general and Mary Shelley’s classic story in particular. With a
show-stopping score that includes Puttin’ on the Ritz, Roll in the Hay,
Deep Love and Welcome to Transylvania, this Tony Award-winning musical ran
for over 500 performances on Broadway.
