DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Cleveland Public Theatre, a growing organization with an ambitious season of adventurous, theatre and bold education programs, seeks a Development Director-a great opportunity for an up-and-coming theatre professional seeking to take on greater responsibility and leadership. CPT is a TCG Budget 3 theatre dedicated to nurturing artists, launching original works, developing new audiences, and engaging underserved youth and adults in life-changing experiences. The Director is responsible for raising approximately $1m a year through grants, individual giving, sponsorships and an annual benefit. The position works closely with the Executive Artistic Director. A Development Assistant reports to the Director. We seek an inspired fundraising professional who can thrive in a dynamic work environment. The position requires superior written and oral communication skills and an aptitude for building interpersonal relationships with donors. Experience with database management preferred. We value dedication, kindness, passion, and grace under pressure. Salary is competitive with theaters of our size.
