CharlotteNorth Carolina is home to civil rights activities and the terrors of the “NightDoctors” during the 1950’s. Imagined or real the impact of these events changedthe lives of one family forever. When Blessings Come Down is apoignant journey told by three members of the Martin family who reunite after yearsof separation and heartaches. Dark secrets are revealed and each one is forcedto face the meaning of forgiveness and the freedom of letting go. Thisperformance will feature original cast members: Jarrett Jones, Sharron Foxx,and special appearance by Sherrie Tolliver in the role of Maggie. A moving“Black history” lesson!
