A Freakishly Funny Film Festival on March 1 from 1-7pm

LandOfCleve.net and McCarthy's Downtown are hosting the first ever ShlockFest -- a local film festival featuring some of the scariest and silliest screen shenanigans this side of "The Twilight Zone." Plus contests, raffles, auctions, giveaways, and more! (18 and under must be accompanied by parent or guardian)

The event will take place on Saturday, March 1 from 1-7pm at McCarthy's Downtown on the West Bank of the Flats. McCarthy's is located at 1231 Main Ave., on the corner of Main & Elm.

1:15pm -- CULT CLASSIC VIDEOS including "Fish Heads," Bambi vs. Godzilla,""Will It Blend -- Human Hand," etc. -- Hosted by GRIMM GORRI of EERIE CINEMATORY

1:30pm -- INTERVIEW with Local Filmmakers/Actors/Designers

2pm -- "NIGHT OF THE DEAD" -- Tribute to the movies of DIRECTOR ERIC FORSBERG


2:30pm -- "THE SHLOCK MEISTER SHOW" LIVE TAPING with commentary from Shlock and his crew of movie-loving miscreants



3pm -- More Cult Classic Videos out in the bar/restaurant so we can eat and drink while we watch!

4:00pm -- VIDEO VIXEN PILLOW FIGHT! Photo Opportunities


4:30 Panel Discussion -- Cleveland Horror Hosts

5:00 pm -- A rare showing of a MYSTERY MOVIE


6pm -- FILM SHOOT -- "The SCAvengers" -- Be a featured extra in our film spoof, which will be premiered during Cleveland ComicCon


7pm -- Madness & Mayhem After-Party at McCarthy's
