CLEVELAND ­ The first of five Advocacy Training sessions presented by
Community Partnership for Arts and Culture (CPAC) will take place
Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at The Rainey Institute.  The 60 minute session,
Rules of the Road, will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until 10:00 a.m.
The session is priced at $10.00 per person and is open to the public.

 
Led by public policy expert Loren Anthes, The MetroHealth System, Rules of
the Road will walk participants through rules governing what 501(c)(3)¹s
and staff can do related to legislative lobbying and electoral campaigns.
The session will also explore registration and reporting requirements for
organizations, the legislative calendar and a number of related resources.

CPAC¹s Advocacy Training sessions are aimed to provide participants with
the tools, resources and coaching needed to advance their skills as an
arts and culture champion.  CPAC¹s approach provides participants with
solid principles and techniques that allow them to take immediate action
within their organization and/or community. Each 60 minute session is
geared for both novice and expert.
