*SEASONAL YOUTH THEATER INSTRUCTOR/DIRECTOR*



Solon Center for the Arts is accepting applications for a Seasonal Youth
Theater Instructor/Director to direct a youth theater musical production in
the fall of 2014.



Qualified Applicants must have completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Theater or Education from an accredited institution or be in their last
year of obtaining such a degree.  Interested applicants must have
experience teaching and/or directing Youth Theater in the past five years.
 Technical theater experience a plus.  This position involves evening and
weekend hours and will run August through November 2014.  The flat rate for
this project is based upon experience and will range from $1,200 to $1,500.



Candidates for this position will work closely with the Theater Department
Coordinator and must be able to work with students of all ages and skill
levels.  Applicants must be professional and display leadership qualities
in and out of the classroom.  In addition, the applicant should possess
excellent problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
 Applicants must be able to work in a team environment.
