Thoroughly Modern Millie, the high-spirited musical romp that has everyone dancing the Charleston, will play host to the Scouts of North East Ohio on Wednesday, June 25 at 7:30 pm.  The musical, based on the Julie Andrews movie of the same name, is the perfect theatre outing for a young performer, or theatre newbie. Tickets are just $5 each for Scouts and their siblings. Set in 1922 New York City, Thoroughly Modern Millie tells the story of young Millie Dillmount, who has just moved to the city in search of a new life for herself. It’s a New York full of intrigue and jazz - a time when women were entering the workforce and the rules of love and social behavior were changing forever.  Appropriate for ages 6 and up.

Filled with fun-loving flappers, dashing leading men and a dragon-lady of a villainess that audiences will love to hate, Thoroughly Modern Millie is a perfectly constructed evening of madcap merriment for you and your Girls.
