Every 10th caller who purchases at least 2 tickets to Once Upon A Mattress
on July 30th between 9am and 7pm will receive one of the following OPA
summer camps for *FREE* for 1 child.
Youth Theater - Tales of the Forest ($275 value), and God's Masterpiece
Camp ($150 value), Princess Dance Camp ($95 value).

Enhance your child’s theater experience at OPA with a pre-show puppetry
workshop based on the classic story of The Princess and the Pea. 90 minutes
prior to each performance, kids will get the chance to create original
puppets they can take home and enjoy a mini performance of *The Princess
and the Pea* by actors in *Once Upon a Mattress*. Our ice cream shop will
be open to anyone. Enjoy an ice cream sundae or root beet float prior to
the show. Tickets to the puppetry workshop are $10 per child. Adults are
free.

In a small kingdom in medieval times, Prince Dauntless is looking for a
bride. A dozen girls have already been tested and rejected as unsuitable by
his mother, the talkative Queen Aggravain, who dominates the kingdom and
her mute husband, King Sextimus. The marriage law of the land states “no
one may wed until Dauntless shares his marriage bed” and the lords and
ladies of the court are distressed. There is definitely An Opening for a
Princess here.

Director Megan Hyde, who brought Little Mermaid to life in 2013, has
assembled an amazing cast led by Brianna Burke as Princess Winifred; Blake
Gallaway as Dauntless; Kailee Shriver as Minstrel and Chelsea Falatic as
Queen Aggravain.
