Based on the novel *The Wonderful World of Oz* by L. Frank Baum; adapted by
John Kane from the 1939 motion picture screenplay for the Royal Shakespeare
Company
Music and Lyrics by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg
Background music by Herbert Stothart

Directed by: Angela Boehm
Musical Direction by: Judy Crandall
Choreographers: Megan Hyde & Josh Landis

*Roles Available:*
*Dorothy* - 16 and up - Female
*Hunk/Scarecrow** - 16 & up - Male or Female
*Hickory/Tin Man** - 16 & up - Male
*Zeke/Lion* *- 16 & up - Male
*Professor Marvel/Oz** - Adult - Male
*Miss Gulch/Wicked Witch** - 18 and up - Female
Stipend available for select principal roles

*Ensemble - *6 and up - Male and Female
*These roles MAY be cast as 1 actor or as 2 separate actors

**Following parts will fly and must be at all fly rehearsals (Wicked Witch,
Glinda and Niko the flying monkey, 2 crows and possibly Dorothy and Tin Man)

**Auntie Em/Glinda has been pre-cast and will be played by Rachel Anderson

Individual Auditions: August 17th 9:00am-12:00pm
Dance Auditions: August 17th 12:30pm
Call Backs: immediately following dance audition

Please bring headshot, theatre resume and 16 measures of a song for
individual audition.

Rehearsals will begin on August 21st. Rehearsals will be Sunday, Tuesday
and Thursday
