Auditions will be held from 6:00 -- 9:00 pm on Monday, August 18 and 
Tuesday August 19 at Strongsville's Senior Center, 18100 Royalton Road 
(behind Target), Strongsville, OH 44136. If needed, callbacks will be on 
Wednesday, August 20.

If possible, please bring a resume (audition form may be obtained on SCT

with photo and list of any conflicts you have during the latter part of 
September through the production dates.

About the play:
Leonard Vole is arrested for the murder of a wealthy older widow, named 
Emily French. Since Mrs. French made him her principal heir, not aware 
that he was a married man, things look bad for Leonard's defense. But 
the final blow comes when his wife, Romaine, agrees to testify, not in 
Leonard's defense, but as a witness for the prosecution. The play ends 
with a dramatic twist.

Looking to cast the following roles:

SIR WILFRID ROBARTS (Leonard's defense barrister, 60s)

LEONARD VOLE (the accused -- late 20s)

MR. MAYHEW (solicitor -- middle-aged)

ROMAINE (Leonard's wife -- 40s)

MR. MYERS (Barrister -- representing the prosecution, 60s)

GRETA (Sir Wilfrid's secretary, 20s)

CARTER (Sir Wilfrid's chief clerk)

JANET MacKENZIE (The victim's housekeeper -- 60's, needs Scottish accent)

MYSTERY WOMAN (40s -- needs Cockney accent)

GIRL (A very small, but pivotal role)

In addition to the above roles, there are a number of smaller roles as 
well as many non-speaking roles.  All must have a semblance of an 
English accent unless otherwise noted. We will have a dialect coach at 
times during rehearsals.

Rehearsals for this production will begin on or around September 29, 2014.

Production dates: November 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 2014.
