HYT IS SEEKING AN ASSISTANT MUSIC DIRECTOR/MUSIC DIRECTOR



The 2014-2015 season is one of transition for Heights Youth Theatre as I
leave for Raleigh NC!  I am looking to hire my replacement, and want to use
next season as a chance to audition candidates and also train as necessary.



We are looking for someone with the following skills:

·         strong sight-reading

·         classroom management for all ages (6-18)

·         familiarity with keyboards (HYT owns a Kurzweil; it would be
great if you owned a board as well!)

·         ability to adapt orchestrations

·         vocal coaching

·         ensemble teaching



Auditions for our first show of the season begin September 2, so I will use
that opportunity to hear you play and connect with the kids at that time!
