[NEohioPAL] Cassidy Theatre seeks Costume Designer immediately for The Sound of Music running November 21- December 7th

Cassidy Theatre Inc., (6200 Pearl Road, Parma Heights Ohio 44130 )now accepting resumes for a Costume Designer for our 2014, production of The Sound of Music.
Production dates are from 11/21/2014 – 12/07/2014
The costume master/designer, will be responsible for the overall look of the clothes and costumes for this production. The costumer will be in charge of designing, obtaining, making, and altering costumes for the production.

Responsibilities:

  a.. study the script

  b.. discuss ideas with the production designer, director, and lighting designers

  c.. create costume ideas to fit the production’s design concept and budget

  d.. research suitable costume styles, fabrics and designs

  a.. buying or renting outfits

  b.. fitting, altering and adapting costumes

  c.. cleaning, ironing and mending
