Single Black 
Female, by Lisa B. Thompson, is a two-woman show with rapid-fire comic 
vignettes that explore the lives of thirty-something African American 
middle class women in urban America as they search for love, clothes, 
and dignity in a world that fails to recognize them amongst a parade of stereotypical images. 


Seeking:
SBF 1, an African American English literature professor, mid thirties (or able to play mid thirties), very earthy and natural with a free spirit.
SBF 2, an African American corporate lawyer, mid thirties (or able to play mid thirties), businesslike, with a corporate look. 


Auditions:
Sunday, November 16 7-9pm
Monday, November 17 7-9pm

Where:
East Cleveland Theater
14108 Euclid Ave.
East Cleveland, Ohio 11442

Photo and resume are not required, but helpful.  Come prepared to read 
from the script, and do mild improvisation. 


The play will open February 6, 2015, and run through March 1, 2015 with performances on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
