*CLEVELAND, OH*…. The Musical Theater Project celebrates Valentine’s Day
with “A Fine Romance: The Love Song Cabaret” to be presented at Vosh
Lakewood on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 7pm.



This is The Musical Theater Project’s first appearance at Vosh Lakewood.
Owned by the Krivosh family, Vosh presents a range of fine entertainment.
Vosh features a menu prepared by Chef Gregg Korney, the executive chef of
the fine dining restaurant Georgetown.



Co-hosted by TMTP artistic director Bill Rudman and music director Nancy
Maier, the cabaret will spotlight classic love songs including the
ultra-romantic “Night and Day,” “All the Things You Are,” “Embraceable You”
and “Love Is Here to Stay.” But there’s lots of comedy, too, including “Down
With Love,” “Let’s Do It” and “You Irritate Me So.”



The oldest song was written by Cole Porter in 1928; the most recent is a
love song currently being performed in the Broadway musical “If/Then.”



TMTP’s intimate show features two popular Cleveland vocalists.  Fabio
Polanco appeared in the Broadway national tour of *Les Miserables*.  He has
been seen locally at Great Lakes Theater, Cleveland Play House and Cain
Park and is a professor in the school of theatre and dance at Kent State
University.  Joining him is Sandra Simon, a soprano well known in both the
classical and musical theater worlds.  Her 2001 release with Apollo’s
Fire, *Come
to the River*, was a Top 10 best seller on the classical *Billboard* chart.



Several years ago “A Fine Romance” was presented to a packed house at
Chautauqua Institution, where it was hailed as “stylish and entertaining –
a great evening!”  Cool Cleveland called it “charming from first to last.”



Vosh Lakewood is located at 1414 Riverside Drive in Lakewood.  General

“A Fine Romance: The Love Song Cabaret” is presented as part of  the “Song
Is You!” concert and cabaret season produced each year by The Musical
Theater Project at a variety of locations.
