ComedySynopsis: 
“Guardians” is a film that addresses humanity and relationships in an unusual and even crude, but comedic light. The world is divided between two dimensional plains, one belonging to Humans and the other, to the Guardians. Humans go through life completely ignorant of the existence of the corporate-mannered Guardians, who follow humans around 24/7 and keep them out of harm’s way. However, a near-death experience allows Josh, a failing college student, to see these other-worldly beings, changing his life forever.

Josh is a uniquely vulgar college student who hates going to class, and likes partying and a girl named Amanda. He is on the threshold of having to withdraw from the university and leave his best friend, David, and the girl he likes behind. Although Josh is worried about failing, his laziness and somewhat aggressive personality mask his concern.
[JOSH’S GUARDIAN] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 20-25] [BUILD: AVERAGE]
Josh’s Guardian is tasked with looking after Josh for the entirety of the human’s natural life span. Unfortunately, the Guardian can’t stand him. He is overly-critical and a little self-serving, but is obligated to care for Josh and keep him alive…or face the horrifying consequences.

David is Josh’s best friend and acts like an older brother figure. He is a studious and mature individual that sincerely cares for those around him. Regardless, he is often vexed by Josh’s immaturity and unusual behavior.

[DAVID’S GUARDIAN] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 20-25] [BUILD: AVERAGE]
David’s Guardian, much like David, is mature and cares for those around him. However, his formal mannerisms and serious expression mask his kindness as generic civility. Over time, he has come to view and care for David as an individual, as opposed to an unwanted responsibly. 

[AMANDA] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 20-25] [BUILD: SLENDER-TO-AVERAGE OR ATHLETIC]
Amanda appears to be an enthusiastic and friendly individual, but she is shyer than she makes herself out to be. She values friendship and kindness over most other things and is the apple of Josh’s eye.

[AMANDA’S GUARDIAN] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 20-25] [BUILD: AVERAGE OR PETITE]
Amanda’s Guardian watches over Amanda in timid silence, with down-cast eyes. She cares deeply for Amanda and empathizes with her every pain and joy, but finds it difficult to express these emotions openly. Due to her shyness, she does not speak to others.

Ryan is a menacing and disgusting looking guy that treats others as horribly as he looks. Although he is aggressive and domineering, he’s really filled with cowardice and doesn’t know how to react when people start fighting back.

[RYAN’S GUARDIAN] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 20-25] [BUILD: LEAN OR SLENDER]
Ryan’s Guardian is smaller and anxious. He stumbles over his words and gets flustered at times, but remains fairly polite. Often, he disapproves of Ryan’s actions toward others, but he finds it emotionally difficult to intervene and vents his frustrations by lecturing Ryan (who can’t hear him).
