*Season of Shows and Events*


LandOfCleve.net, in association with Loan Star Stage, is proud to announce
a new arts and entertainment group in Northeast Ohio called Land of Cleve
Productions. They will be producing a full season of stage plays and
musicals, along with film projects, concerts, conventions, workshops and
special events beginning March 2015.

Most events will be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5801 Memphis Ave.
(just west of Fulton, between Ridge and Pearl), Cleveland, OH 44144. This
location is not ADA wheelchair accessible.

The inaugural Land of Cleve season will include (dates will be announced
soon, all shows subject to availability):

March - *"HONEYBAKED HAMLET"* -- Orson Welles and his Hollywood friends
re-enact the tale of the prince of Denmark during  their Easter
celebration. Dinner theatre includes meal, beverage and cheese danish for
desert.

April - *"BIG BRAWL IN THE BINGO HALL"* -- Tension mounts between the
eccentric regulars at the weekly bingo gathering in a neighborhood church
basement on the West Side of Cleveland.

May - *"THE CLEVELAND CLOWNS"* -- A makeshift family of down-and-out circus
performers living in cardboard boxes in the Flats find humor, hope and
disappointment around every corner.

June - *"AMELIA'S ALIVE"*-- Historical drama imagines what would have
happened if the famed aviatrix and her co-pilot has survived after their
mysterious disappearance. Featured at Cleveland Public Theatre's 2014
Pandemonium event.

July - *"PARMATOWN"* -- A group of friends waiting in line to buy a
commemorative brick from a demolished local mall recall all the fun times
they had growing up together.

August - *"BELLYMAN"*-- The super-musical adventures of Cleveland's own
carb-challenged superhero who runs -- or at least walks quickly -- when
someone in trouble calls.

September - *"A TREE GROWS IN OLD BROOKLYN"* -- Hipsters move into a
Brooklyn Acres apartment, where they encounter a pair of older neighbors.

October - *"SASSAFRAS (aka Everybody Dies, Even the Audience)"* -- Mystery,
murder and mayhem are on the menu at an eccentric general's dinner party.

November - "*CLEVELAND THE MUSICAL"*-- A fading rock star returns home to
his roots to get the old band back together. Featuring some of our local
heroes, this show is a celebration in song of C-Town and all it has to
offer.

December - *"SCROOGE AND FARLEY"* -- In this re-invented version of "A
Christmas Carol," Ebeneezer is visited by three ghosts who resemble the
comedy characters of a famed funny man.


CONVENTIONS and CONCERTS will include:

*"ArtisticCon"* -- A gathering for local artists and art lovers.

*"BooksCon"* -- Authors, readers, and book collectors come together at this
tome-themed event.

*"CleveCon"* -- The third annual event featuring local celebrities, actors,
artists, authors and all things Cleveland.

*"LeBronCon"* -- An event honoring the King and his fellow Cavaliers.

*"Meatloaf Again!"* -- An evening with the master of the musical macabre's
brother-in-law.

*"Monster Talent Show"* -- Costumed participants compete for prizes at this
Halloween event.

*"**Red Velvet Elvis"* -- Concert featuring a performer who's somewhere
between early Elvis and later Elvis -- plus special celebrity guests.

*"ShlockCon"* -- Horror, sic-fi and fantasy fans will marvel at this
mini-convention hosted by ShlockMeister.com

*"TheatriCon" *-- An event that celebrates the thriving stage scene
in Northeast Ohio.


WORKSHOPS will include:

*"Everybody Acts"* -- An acting workshop for all levels of experience and
anyone who just wants to try it!

*"Feedback"* -- Local performers bring their acts to the attention of area
theatre, film and music veterans.

*"Image-ination"* -- Photography workshops with an emphasis on creativity,
featuring artists from TroubleShooterImages.com.

*"Rewrites"* -- Cleveland-area playwrights help aspiring writers rework
their words one page at a time.
