The Broadview Height Spotlight’s *2015 Cabaret Series* continues with *Mike
and Mary*, featuring music from the Great American Songbook. The show  will
feature music from the mid- 20th century to the present day by composers
such as George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Harold Arlen, Burt Bacharach,
Carole King and many more.

Performances will be *Friday, February 27* and *Saturday, February 28 *at
*7:00PM*.  General admission tickets are $7.00.  Tickets can be purchased
online at www.broadview-heights-spotlights.org or reserved by calling
440-526-4404. The house opens for seat selection at 6:30PM.

By special arrangement with the Broadview Heights City Council, audience
members are invited to *bring a bottle of wine* to enjoy.  The theater will
provide non-alcoholic beverages, light refreshments, and glassware.

The Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater is located at the rear of the
Broadview Center Property, next to the Police Station, 9543 Broadview Road,
Broadview Heights, OH  44147.

*Mike and Mary*’s appeal is universal as their shows are enjoyed by
audiences who are familiar with their music and new audiences who have
never heard it before.   Described as entertaining and “*a lot of fun*”
their performances are peppered with stories about the composers, the
origins of the music and the artists who originated this wonderful art
form.

*Mike Elkins* is an accomplished pianist who plays in a number of bands in
the area including the Dan Zola Orchestra.  Mr. Elkins writes all of the
“Mike and Mary” arrangements.

Vocalist *Mary Osburn*’s background is in musical theatre and American
popular music.  She delights in rediscovering songs from long forgotten
Broadway Shows that have become American standards and sharing them with
new audiences.

Joining Mike and Mary on bass will be *Jim Mass*, who has performed with
the NEO Jazz Orchestra, Skyline, Swing City Big Band, The Juice Band, Jazz
Connection, Cleveland Philharmonic, Josephine Venuti, and many others.
