"A Talent for Murder" offers high suspense and comedy at CVLT,
      opening March 27

CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio - If you thought this past winter was a real killer,
check out the Chagrin Valley Little Theatre's production of A TALENT FOR
MURDER opening March 27 with eight performances Friday and Saturday
nights through April 18.

Directed by Claudia Lillibridge, the award-winning play by Jerome
Chodorov and Norman Panama offers up equal parts of comedy and mystery
to keep you both amused and guessing at the edge of your seat. The cast
features Tori MacNair, David Hess, Craig Gifford, Shannon Sidorick,
Morgan Albert, Bobby Thomas and Brendon Berns.

In a role made famous by Angela Lansbury for the BBC-TV's version, local
actress Tori MacNair plays 'Anne Royce McClean,' a free-wheeling,
hard-drinking, wheelchair-bound, successful mystery novelist. Anne owns
a priceless art collection that her relatives just might just kill to
possess, along with her historic mansion.

Her family includes a cash-strapped poet son, played by Craig Gifford
and his attractive but ruthless wife (Shannon Sidorick), and a sweet
granddaughter with her dubious husband (Morgan Albert and Brendon
Berns), all of whom scheme for favor while double-crossing each other.
Her only allies might be her live-in doctor/ex-lover (Bobby Thomas), and
her butler 'Rashi,' an East Indian paroled convict (David Hess). Did we
mention Anne is also a bit of a firebug? You get the picture.

Show times are 8 p.m. at 40 River Street in Chagrin Falls. Tickets are
$18 for adults, and $14 for seniors and students. Call the Box Office
1-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday at 440-247-8955, or order them online at
www.CVLT.org.

CVLT is generously funded by Cuyahoga County residents through /Cuyahoga
Arts and Culture and supported by the Ohio Arts Council. CVLT is a proud
member of the American Association of Community Theatre.
