Aurora Community Theatre introduces WINTER STOCK:

An intensive Performance Workshop for students in grades 6-12

21 participants will be selected at the Auditions

for roles in INTO the WOODS JR



AUDITIONS

Aurora Community Theatre 115 E. Pioneer Trail

Sunday Dec. 6, 6-9 p.m.

Monday Dec. 7, 6-8p.m.

Callbacks  Dec. 7, 8-9 p.m.

Actors should come prepared to perform a musical theater song

less than a minute long with sheet music for the accompanist.

The song should be objective driven and acted rather than simply sung.

If possible, actors should bring a resume and current headshot.



Join us on a musical adventure with

The Baker and The Baker’s Wife, who wish to have a child;

Cinderella, who wishes to attend the king's festival,

Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk,

Plus Cinderella’s Mother, Jack’s Mother,

Little Red Ridinghood, Mysterious Man,

Narrator, Witch, Wolf, Rapunzel, Steward,

Cinderella’s family, Granny, Milky White

and Rapunzel’s/Cinderella’s Prince



When The Baker and The Baker’s Wife learn

that they cannot have a child because of a

Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to

break the curse and wind up changed forever.





JOHN KROL will direct and provide musical direction for INTO the WOODS JR

Krol brings professional music and theatre experience from working with
area schools and community theaters, as well as vocal coaching for musical
theatre students at his own studio.  Krol, musical director for ACT’s
productions of RENT, has also served as musical director for programs at
Beck Center for the Arts, the Fairmount Performing Arts Center, and
Hathaway Brown Theatre Institute. His educational credentials include a
bachelors degree in music and theatre from the University of Detroit, a
masters degree in composition from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and a
masters degree in conducting from Southern Methodist University.



INTO the WOODS JR

rehearsals will be held Dec. 20-31 (except Dec. 24, 25 and Jan. 1)



INTO the WOODS JR performances are

JAN 2 at 2 pm and 6 pm



Fee for Winter Stock is $100 for each participant.
