AKRON SYMPHONY CHORUS AUDITIONS for 2016-2017 Season



The Akron Symphony Chorus will hold auditions for the 2016-2017 season August 8-10 and August 15-17. Auditions are by appointment only. Rehearsals are on Mondays from 7:00-9:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church located at 263 E. Mill St., Akron OH 44308. Highlights of the season include Holst's Planets, Beethoven's Ninth and Mendelssohn's Elijah. Audition Requirements:

*      Vocalization to demonstrate the full extent of your vocal range

*      Test your sight reading ability

*      Test the timbre of the voice

*      Choral experience
