PAID ACTING POSITIONS for the Princess and the Pumpkin
Hilarious fun and adventure with a little singing and dancing, this is the endearing story of Princess Melrose, who, despite having strong but hidden feelings for farm hand, Patch Greenleaf, is told by her father, King Orchard, that she must marry the dastardly Baron von Sourseed in order to save their Kingdom of Mapleside.  With the help of animal friends and hyper-kinetic Paisley Pumpkin, Sourseed’s true plan is revealed, justice prevails and love blossoms. 
A family show with a little something for everyone, with a 15 min run time.
Princess Melrose (18-28) the beautiful daughter of King Orchard, she lives for nature, fun and adventure, confident, grounded, but innocent, and SINGS about the man she wants to marry.
King Orchard (40-70)Just shy of senile, but full of love
Patch Greenleaf (18-30)Handsome, fit, farm hand, smart, falls in love with the Princess
Baron Von Saurcede (30-50) Tall, dark and Dastardly – plans to take over the Kingdom
Paisley Pumpkin (18-30) Energetic, Spastic, fun, comedic, communicates through pantomime and saves the day
Puppeteer – 18+
Experience helpful but will train the right candidate
 
Show runs 4-6 times per day Saturdays and Sundays from Sept 24 through Oct 30.
Performance
Days are fully paid at $11/hour.  
Rehearsals begin the week of Sept 05 for 3 weeks, 3 days per week.
