In an effort to bring more connection, understanding, empathy and love into our lives and community, we at Get Hep Swing, would love to invite first time swing dancers to attend tomorrow night's swing dance at the Lakewood Masonic Temple for free.

Swing dancing is a partnered dance.  You hold hands with your partner and you communicate your ideas through actions like weight shifts, slight moments of compression and leverage, and subtle twisting.  Both dancers are actively listening and generating ideas simultaneously.  It can be both simple and complicated, but mostly it is a fun way to connect with people and make new friends.    
EVERYONE is welcome to join us.  We do not have to agree politically, but we do all have to use good manners.  If you don't use good manners, you will be politely asked to attend charm school and leave dance school. 

The dance on Friday, November 11th is at the Lakewood Masonic Temple at 15300 Detroit Avenue.

Easy Jitterbug dance lesson from 8-9.  Seventeen piece big band plays from 9-12.

No partner needed as we rotate partners during the hour long lesson.
