38th Annual Holiday Choral Concert at Stocker Arts Center

 

Lorain County Community College's Civic Chorale and Civic Orchestra will
present the 38th Annual Holiday Choral Concert at 7:30 p.m., Saturday,
December 3 in the Stocker Arts Center Hoke Theatre.

 

Tickets are $9 for general admission and $8 for LCCC students, employees
and senior citizens 65 and older. Tickets may be purchased at
www.stockerartscenter.com, by calling (440) 366-4040 or in person at the
Stocker box office, which is open from 12-6 p.m. on weekdays.

 

More than 120 performers representing LCCC students, young
professionals, retirees, and community musicians from Northeast Ohio
will perform under the direction of conductor and director of choral
music performance, Nancy L. Davis. 

 

The concert will feature Vivaldi's Gloria, selections from Handel's
"Messiah," including the ever-popular "Hallelujah" chorus, and holiday
favorites including "Ave Maria," "O Holy Night," "Shepherd's Pipe Carol"
and more.

 

A special feature of the concert will be a guest performance by Solid
Brass, an all-brass ensemble who will delight the audience with festive
holiday music, including an audience sing-along.
