AUDITIONSFOR “ALMOST, MAINE” - Broadview Heights Spotlights

No appointment is needed, but auditioners must arrive within onehour of the end time. Callbacks, if needed, may be held December 10th from7-10PM. Audition will be held at the Broadview Heights Spotlights theater, 9543Broadview Road (behind the Police Station), Broadview Heights, OH  44147. Auditions will consist of readingsfrom the script. Show dates are February 9-24, 2018 – the Spotlights’ AnnualCoffeehouse show.

SYNOPSIS:  Welcome to Almost,Maine, a town that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States—it’salmost in Canada. And it almost doesn’t exist. Because its residents never gotaround to getting organized. So it’s just…Almost.  One cold, clear Friday night in the middle ofwinter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residentsfind themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees arebruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life forthe people of Almost, Maine will never be the same.

AVAILABLE ROLES: This show is aseries a vignettes with 2-3 characters in each (10 male characters and 9 femalecharacters. The director plans to assign each actor he casts 2 or more roles inthe show.
