*About The Music Man**:* There's trouble in River City when a fast talking
salesman gets his heart stolen by the town librarian.

By turns wicked, funny, warm, romantic and touching, *The Music Man* is
family entertainment at its best. Meredith Willson's six-time, Tony
Award-winning musical comedy has been entertaining audiences since 1957 and
is a family-friendly story to be shared with every generation.

*The Music Man* follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he
cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms
for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he
doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the
cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him
into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall.

A full synopsis of the entire story is available on the Music Theatre
International Website. The Music Man

*Roles: *Roles are available for children, teens and young adults from 3rd
grade – College.

*About Spelling Bee:* Six awkward spelling champions learn that winning
(and losing) isn't everything. Winner of the Tony and the Drama Desk Awards
for Best Book, *The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee *has charmed
audiences across the country with its effortless wit and humor. Featuring a
fast-paced, wildly funny and touching book by Rachel Sheinkin and a truly
fresh and vibrant score by William Finn, this bee is one unforgettable
experience.

An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship
of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories
from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of
(potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing,
pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling
mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a
juice box.
