"Tis The Season".....
Many of us are blessed with the things we need in life. Some of us have more than enough. 
There are many in our city that are not as fortunate. The homeless people. Every year me and a group of special friends host a dinner for the homeless at the FOP Hall at 22nd and Payne. Every year we are seeing more families with small children that come by and eat a warm wholesome meal. We can always use a helping hand. We don't need your money. We ask that you drop off a cooked dish or some cans of vegetables.
 We need cooked hams and turkeys- Cans of Vegetables (Yams, green beans, peas, corn, lettuce, tomatoes, relish, cranberry sauce etc)  A few rolls of plastic table clothes for tables are welcome....as well as plates and plastic ware. Items can be dropped off at 10:00 am at the FOP Hall- Ric, Myron, or Betty
 Or perhaps a couple hours of your time and energy. This is a good time to show your children a way of giving with a little can go a long way. I hope you will share this on your friends' pages. Thanks in advance to the faithful friends that come back and help year after year. 
PS...Every one is welcome to come and eat, homeless or not. We always have more than enough.
