Imagination Nation (Ages 5-7) 10-11am
A fun theater experiencethat blends beginning theater performance principals, theater games, Maskmaking, and most importantly imagination!
One Act Wonders (Ages 8 and up) 11-12pm
In this theater workshopstudents will learn basic acting techniques, set design, prop design, and basictheater terminology while they rehearse a version  of a popular one actfairy tale culminating with a performance  for friends and family on thelast day of class.
This highly interactive andengaging class is perfect for the beginning performer or the more advancedstudent looking to brush up on their skills.

Teacher Bios:
Matthew J. Wilks (One ActWonders) is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NewYork City who divides his career between theater and film. Stage highlightsinclude: “Toga Party Terror” at Hilarities Comedy Club in Cleveland. “GodsFavorite” for which he was awarded a Merit in Acting Award from the OhioCommunity Theatre Association, and 7 seasons with The Illusion Factory, aprofessional children’s theatre touring company. Film highlights include:Technically Marvin (Cleveland Film Festival), Draft Day, Cleveland Abduction,and the Netflix film Little Evil. In addition to performing he is also aDirector and Acting Teacher at several theaters throughout Northeast Ohio.
 
KatieWells (Imagination Nation) Afterattending Cleveland State University where she majored in Acting and CostumeDesign she has been performing professionally throughout Ohio and New York.Children's Theatre and teaching has been a special passion of hers for years. Teachingexperience includes: workshops and summer camps with The Illusion Factory,acting workshops with Little Vikings Children's Theatre, Shakespeare workshopsat Garfield Heights High School, and a TA position at Cleveland State for theIntro To Costume Design class. She is also an award winning costume designerwith a Certificate of Merit from the Kennedy Center for Performing arts for herwork on InThe Blood at CSU and two Best Costume Design awards fromBroadwayWorld.com's Best of Cleveland Awards in 2014.  This springshe is directing The Vagina Monologues at Avenue Arts Marketplace andTheatre in Canton and playing the role of Olivia in Twelfth Nightat Rubber City Theatre here in Akron.
