Casting call. Comedy Short film unpaid, non-union. IMDB Credit, food and most of all, a fun set! Will be for the film festival circuit. Will confirm dates soon Likely 4 days total May/June In the Akron/Cleveland area. Accepting video auditions.
Synopsis
Granny Panties is the tale of 3 average middle-aged women living incredibly mundane lives who stumble into the secret underworld of panty-selling. With the help of a tech-saavy geek with a shoe fetish and a washed up stripper the ladies build a lucrative empire with an army of panty-wearers. Realizing life is too short , they develop a new-found confidence and the courage to make their own Happiness.

Character Descriptions
Luanne- 50’s or older. Any Race. A realist, borderline pessimist at times. Limited education and works minimum wage jobs. Her husband has recently left her for a much younger woman. She is struggling to navigate life and her purpose. Over the course of movie she has new found confidence and a revelation of how to create happiness. (4 days)

Tucker- Male (age open) Caucasian. Under 6’ tall. Bowling Alley worker. Tech-saavy and intelligent but lacks motivation. Kind hearted but, socially awkward. Has a hard time navigating personal space. Must be perceived as average to below average in attractiveness and physique. Lives in parents basement. Has a secret shoe fetish. (1 or 2 days)

Misty- Bartender. Very attractive not very bright. Dresses a bit trashy and acts seductive to get tips. She is judgemental and makes fun of those who are not traditionally attractive. Street smart, mean girl. Has been a stripper in the past. (1 day)

Ralph- Bowling Alley Owner. (40+) Race open. Out of Shape to Overweight. Average to below average height. Sweats a lot. A sexist, cigar-smoking gambler. Rewards beauty over hard work. Clothes are too small due to weight gain and he not wanting to spend money on clothes. (1 day)

Billy- 30+ Caucasian. Doris’s husband. Big Teddy bear kind of guy. Give you the shirt off his back. Blue collar worker. Out of Shape to overweight build. Has lost interest in his wife sexually. Implied intimacy. (1 day)

Pretty patron #1 and #2- Female 20+ race open. Thinks they are better than everyone else. Some dialogue. Dressed very nice but flashy, maybe some bling. Heavy makeup. Takes lots of selfies. (1 day)

Tuesday Bert- 40+ Bald but wears a bad toupee. Character actor. Any body type. Must be willing to be filmed in “tighty whiteys” and have confidence and sense of humor. (1 day)

Chuck- 50+ Caucasian. Out of shape to Overweight. No dialogue. He is the estranged husband of Luanne. He left her for a younger woman and later returns. No dialogue (1 day)

Seeking women 18+ of all sizes and appearance for a quick scene. Select women will be featured in their granny panties. Must be confortable in your own skin and have a sense of humor.

Also, need men and women of all ages to be extras as bowling alley patrons and league bowlers. Bowling shirts are a bonus!!
