Come Join Eden Valley on a Trail!

Take trip on Ohio's Underground Railroad on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at
6:00 p.m. at the Buckeye Library, 6625 Wolff Rd. in Medina, Ohio. Hear
about the runaway slaves and the people who helped them when we present
NEXT STOP, FREEDOM! Ohio had more than 3,000 miles of Underground Railroad
routes and there are almost as many stories. We'll be sharing a few of
these inspiring stories at this storytelling presentation which is FREE and
open to the public. For more information contact the library at
330-725-4415.

Come see the Emmy-nominated film, TRAIL MAGIC: THE GRANDMA GATEWOOD STORY,
on Friday, June 22, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at The Elryia Arts Council, 336
Broad St, Elyria, Ohio. Emma Gatewood was the first woman to solo
thru-hike the 2,050-mile Appalachian Trail in 1955 at the age of 67 after
raising 11 children and surving domestic abuse! Later she helped establish
Ohio's Buckeye Trail. You'll be inspired by her story of courage and
determination! Tickets are $5.00 for this fundraiser. For more information
call Anne at the Arts Council at (440) 328-3025.
