ICONICA Teen Vocal Group Auditions for Future Replacements

The Tony Award nominated producers of Broadway’s LITTLE WOMEN THE MUSICAL and the upcoming Broadway revival of THE SECRET GARDEN are pleased to announce auditions for the award winning Cleveland based teen vocal group ICONICA. 

We are seeking strong, well trained, male and female vocalists age 15-17 (any race, ethnicity, or body type). The ideal candidate would possess an outgoing personality while being able to function as a team player.

Interested candidates should submit a current headshot and resume along with a video singing two contrasting styles of musical theater songs (i.e. ballad & uptempo).
Both songs must be accompanied by piano or track, a-cappella submissions will not be accepted. Video links should sent in the form of private YouTube links.

The submission deadline is June 1st, 2018. Finalists will be called in for an in person audition with the music director & group producers. Finalists and their parent(s) will be called in for an in person interview. 

Parental involvement is crucial to the success of the group. At least one parent must participate in the group and be present for all rehearsals and performances.

Pay scale varies based on performance type,  all profits are split equally among the group members. The producers provide their time and services on a voluntary basis and receive no compensation. 

ICONICA with Adriana Holst, Hope Spinner, Christian Thomas, and Ally Yellets recently won the “Land of Cleve Achievement Award” BEST OF CLEVELAND 2017 for their 2 SOLD OUT performances of “16 Going on Broadway” at Playhouse Square. ICONICA members have performed at sold out concerts in some of the most prestigious venues in the USA including 54 Below in NYC and Carnegie Hall. A musically diverse group of professional teen vocalists from the worlds of Pop, Rock, Musical Theater, and opera. Group members have opened for or performed with some of the entertainment industries most top performers including: Hot Chelle Rae, Christopher Cross, The Irish Tenors, Celtic Women, Jim Brickmanand Drake Bell. 

ICONICA music direction is provided by Charles Eversole. Mr. Eversole is the Artistic Director of Cleveland’s world-renowned youth chorus “The Singing Angels.” He holds vocal music degrees from the University of Michigan and Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music.   He has served as a musical director for over 40 theatrical productions including the off-Broadway production of Kris Kringle The Musical at Town Hall in NYC starring Andrew Keenan Bolger, Cathy Rigby, Pamela Myers, and Kim Crosby. Other credits include the Broadway national tours of The Who’s Tommy and A Grand Night for Singing.  Mr. Eversole is also the Music Director of the Cleveland Cabaret Project, an organization dedicated to the advancement of cabaret performance in and around Cleveland.

The ICONICA producer’s former teen vocal group N’FUSION launched the careers of it’s teen group members who went on to star on Broadway in WICKED, A CHORUS LINE, SPRING AWAKENING, MAMA MIA, LYSISTRATA JONES, and THE BAND’S VISIT.
