PREPARATION

Actors encouraged but not required to bring a resume and headshot.
Materials will be provided at the time actors make their appointment.

SEEKING THE FOLLOWING ROLES ONLY:

Crystal, Chiffon (F, flexible age range, any race/ethnicity): A Motown girl-group greek chorus at the heart of a darkly comedic cautionary tale. All-knowing, vocal powerhouses with a story to tell. These roles will be tailored to fit and showcase the actors cast. They create the world for the audience and other characters.

Orin Scrivello, DDS (M, mid 20s-30s, any race/ethnicity): A charming semi-sadist at the center of his own universe. Reliable for a good time on his bike or in the dental chair...at your own risk. This actor will also play other roles. An excellent opportunity for a multitalented comedic actor.

Mr. Mushnik (M, mid 40s-60s, any race/ethnicity): Practical, old-school owner of Skid Row Florists. A hard worker whom the struggling economy of his city has left behind. A pragmatist. Generous to a point. Note that this character will not speak in any special dialect or be presented as from a specific heritage.

All actors cast receive a stipend.
