PART-TIME FACILITIES TECHNICIAN

Beck Center for the Arts' facilities department has an immediate opening for a part-time facilities technician.  Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, the position is responsible for housekeeping, maintenance, and security of all physical properties and grounds at Beck Center for the Arts. This includes room setup and teardown, general housekeeping, performing various types of repairs and maintenance, and implementation of loss prevention and safety procedures.
The ideal candidate will have basic familiarity with housekeeping and maintenance. Additional skills including floor care, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC are a plus.  This person is self-motivated possessing the ability to work independently and proactively.  This individual will work 15-25 hours per week including some evenings and weekends.
