[NEohioPAL] Call for Interpretive Dancers

Gordon Square Classical Concerts is currently seeking interpretive dancers for an outdoor concert at 4pm Saturday, September 22nd @ Herman Park in celebration of the Fall Equinox.

We accept all levels of skill, so long as the performers take the event seriously and give a thoughtful and expressive performance.

Individual dancers/groups will receive a recording of the classical music for their dance in advanced.  There is 10 minutes of music all-together for the dance portion of the concert.

There will be one rehearsal at the park on Wed Sept 19th from 6pm-9pm, where dancers will run through their portion with live musicians as accompaniment (violin, viola, cello, soprano, and tenor).

Dancers must be familiar with the music before the rehearsal.  Pre-choreographed routines are acceptable.  Artists are encouraged to keep the theme of "Fall Equinox" in mind for choices of movement and costuming.

Interested persons/groups should e mail the composer, Ryan Charles Ramer to receive a recording of the music.  Please keep in mind that the dances are taking place on the grass.  Herman Park is located in Cleveland's Gordon Square Arts District on the west side.
