Wandering Aesthetics is proud to announce the return of the highly popular Summer Theatre CAMP, a series of one and two week long summer camps held at two different Summit County locations. Serving young performers ages 5 – 14 these CAMPs are an excellent opportunity to collaborate, create and cultivate acting skills.

“No one ever made a difference by being like everyone else.”
– P.T. Barnum

For the first time since 2016, Wandering Aesthetics’ Summer CAMP returns to The Center in Akron’s West Hill Neighborhood.

Join Wandering Aesthetics’ Director of Education Kyle Jozsa as he, along with the young performers, explore the world of P.T. Barnum. Using theatrical concepts, including imagination, character creation and teamwork, students will dive into the wildly inventive world under the big top, culminating in the development of their very own dynamic performance.

This two-week long summer camp will build on the students' theatrical experience, furthering their knowledge of the concepts of live performance. Each morning, in his engaging style, Jozsa will reinforce theatrical fundamentals and introduce the students to more advanced techniques of theatre. Each afternoon, students will collaborate on each and every theatrical aspect to craft their tale in an atmosphere of cooperation and playfulness, culminating in a final performance for friends and family.

Students should bring a water bottle and a brown bag lunch.

Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

This CAMP will be held at:
