FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Part-time Dance Instructor Position Available at
Rabbit Run

 

A part-time dance (ballet and pointe) instructor position is available at
Rabbit Run Community Arts Association (RRCAA) in Madison, OH. 


Position Overview: 

RRCAA seeks a motivated and experienced dance instructor to teach
ballet/pointe starting with our fall 2019 session, beginning in September.
Candidate should have experience teaching students with varying levels of
experience ranging in age from young child through adult. 

 

The current instruction schedule includes afternoon and evening classes on
Monday, Thursday and afternoon classes on Saturday.  The ideal candidate
will have the interest and drive to build on the existing program to create
a class structure providing our students with exceptional technique and the
opportunity to be continually challenged.


Education:

Position requires considerable dance training with a focus on ballet/pointe.
Instructor is expected to provide students with high quality and sound
technical training, possess effective class management skills, and maintain
clear and consistent communication with parents and with RRCAA staff and
instructors.


Skills and Experience: 

.         Should have at least two years teaching experience

.         Must be able to communicate ballet terminology and stress
technique

.         Must be able to effectively discipline while maintaining an
encouraging and supportive environment

.         Must possess excellent communication and collaborative skills

.         Must be able to work respectfully alongside other staff and
instructors

.         Must be reliable, and able to maintain regular attendance to all
assigned classes

.         Must be self-motivated and passionate about educating children in
the art of dance

Background Checks:  Must pass local, state, and federal background check at
own expense
