[NEohioPAL] "Stellaluna: a Family Musical" opens Saturday at Spotlights Theater

 “STELLALUNA AND OTHERTALES”
(THEATER FOR YOUNGAUDIENCES)
 As part of its TYA Series (Theater for Young Audiences) theBroadview Heights Spotlights Theater will be presenting the musical “Stellalunaand Other Tales" on Saturdays and Sundays, October 5-13, 2019. Saturdayshows are at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.; Sunday shows are at 2 p.m.

Stellaluna the bat, Verdi the snake, and Pindulithe hyena all seek refreshment at a watering hole one hot day, only to findthemselves the subjects of a bullying lion's ridicule. But by sharing storiesabout building self-confidence, these three misfit animals find wisdom, peace,and friendship. Based on the popular books by Janell Cannon, this delightfulmusical is a treat for both children and adults.

All seats are $12 and reservations can be madeonline at www.broadview-heights-spotlights.org . Walk-ins are welcome if seating is available.

All shows will be held at the Broadview HeightsSpotlights Theater on the Broadview Center Campus, 9543 Broadview Road (next tothe Police Department).

The show is directed by Tim Anderson, andco-produced by Brenton Cochran and Tara Corkery. The cast includes Roxana Bell,Adam Bowers, Lydia Greer, Stephanie Malfara, James Newton, and PeggyNewton.
