Set in a 1930s European perfumery, we meet shop clerks, Amalia and Georg,
who, more often than not, don't see eye to eye. After both respond to a
"lonely hearts advertisement" in the newspaper, they now live for the love
letters that they exchange, but the identity of their admirers remains
unknown. Join Amalia and Georg to discover the identity of their true
loves... and of all the twists and turns along the way!

She Loves Me is produced by Special Arrangement with MTI.

AUDITIONS INFORMATION
October 6 from 6:00-8:00PM
October 8 from 6:30-8:30PM

Auditions will be held at The Geauga Lyric Arts Center, 106 Water St,
Chardon, OH 44024 (across the street from the theater)

Please bring a resume, headshot and 32 bars of a song not from the show,
prepare your sheet music for an accompanist. No a capella or taped music.
If invited to callbacks, scene work, and further music will be given.

Callbacks (if necessary) are by invitation only on Monday, October 14 from
6:30-8:30 pm

Any race, gender, age, body type, or other identities are encouraged to
audition and will be considered equally in casting. GLTG does not offer
union contracts and performers are volunteers.

WOMEN:
Amalia Balash: Character Age: 20 to 35, Soprano, Vocal range top: B5, Vocal
range bottom: C4, The eager new employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. Despite
being a skilled saleswoman, she easily becomes intimated and nervous.
Attractive, bright, and a lover of literature.

Ilona Ritter: Character Age: 25 to 30, Mezzo-Soprano, Vocal range top: E5,
Vocal range bottom: F#3, Employed at Maraczek's Parfumerie. She is sexy and
learned in the ways of romance but longing for something more from the game
of love.

Shoppers, Café Visitors, Carolers: All voice parts needed.

MEN:
Arpad Laszlo: Character Age: 14 to 20, Baritone, Vocal range top: E4, Vocal
range bottom: Bb2, Delivery boy at Maraczek's Parfumerie. His exuberance is
infectious and commitment to his job remarkable. He is ambitious and
adorable.

Ladislav Sipos: Character Age: 45 to 55, Baritone, Vocal range top: E4,
Vocal range bottom: A2, Not the brightest employee at Maraczek's
Parfumerie. A confidant to Georg, he is an optimistic family man who looks
like a huggable father.

Steven Kodaly: Character Age: 25 to 30, Tenor, Vocal range top: A4, Vocal
range bottom: B2. A well respected and liked employee at Maraczek's
Parfumerie. Though he is considered dapper and occasionally charming, he is
more of a shallow womanizer.

Mr. Maraczek: Character Age: 55 to 65, Baritone, Vocal range top: C4, Vocal
range bottom: B2, Owner of Maraczek's Parfumerie. With a commanding
presence, his dedication to the trade is rivaled only by his faithfulness
to his wife.

Georg Nowack: Character Age: 25 to 40, Tenor/ Baritone, Vocal range top:
F4, Vocal range bottom: B2, An established employee of Maraczek's
Parfumerie, he resembles a hopeless romantic. He is like the son Mr.
Maraczek never had.

Waiter: Tenor. An eccentric and over-zealous waiter insistent on creating a
romantic atmosphere.

Busboy: Non-Singing Role. Clumsy at his job he makes the waiter’s life a
nightmare.

Mr. Keller: Non-Singing Role. A highly secretive Private investigator
