This youthful and vigorous (and sold out) collegiate premiere, directed by
Victoria Bussert, with Gregory Daniels as choreographer and Matthew Webb as
music director, is true to the original Broadway hit, written by Harvey
Fierstein with music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper. It is a pop musical with a
real heart.
