THE CEDAR LEE THEATRE SAYS GOODBYE TO A DEAR COLLEAGUE
Special benefit screening of “Moonrise Kingdom” in honor of beloved staff member Arjeye Lacey


(Cleveland, OH) – The Cedar Lee Theatre lost a dear colleague on January 20th with the untimely passing of Arjeye Lacey at the age of 36. For anyone who had regularly visited the Cedar Lee Theatre in the past 19 years, Arjeye was a familiar figure behind the counter. He knew all of the regular customers and was always happy to chat with them about the movie they had just seen. His absence will mean that the Cedar Lee Theatre will never be the same.

“Arjeye will be missed by his co-workers and customers alike,” said Jon Forman, President of Cleveland Cinemas. “His love of movies and dedication to his job made him a shining presence at the theatre.”

To help the Lacey family with expenses, the Cedar Lee Theatre will be hosting a special screening of one of Arjeye’s favorite films by one of his favorite filmmakers. Wes Anderson’s MOONRISE KINGDOM will be screened on Tuesday, February 4th at 7:00 PM at the Cedar Lee Theatre with all proceeds benefiting Arejeye’s funeral expenses.
