*Geauga Lyric Theater Guild presents*

*She Loves Me*

Geauga Lyric Theater Guild (GLTG) continues its 65th season, A Season of
Adventure, with *She Loves Me*. The show runs January 31st through
February 16th with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30p and
Sunday matinees at 2p at Geauga Lyric Theater, 101 Water Street, Chardon.

She Loves Me is a romantic comedy with a beautiful score. Amalia and George
meet at a small Hungarian Parfumerie, and although they resent each other
in the beginning, their friends and co-workers have other ideas. Each of
them have been corresponding to a "Dear Friend" through a lonely hearts
club, and it doesn't take long for the audience to realize that they are,
in fact, falling in love with each other. Through amazing songs like
"Tonight at Eight" and "Vanilla Ice Cream," the audience is transported to
a world full of romance, humor, and heart.

She Loves Me is led by a fantastic production team. Marc C. Howard,
director and choreographer, Jonathan Gordon, music director, and Brad
Allen, scenic designer, have molded a show that share the 3 elements of
great theater: attractive to the eye, attractive to the ear, and
heartwarming. When asked why he wanted to be involved in this production,
Ethan Peterson (Arpad) said, "I love working with Marc and Jonathon, they
both possess such a positive and professional quality in rehearsal and it
makes for such an amazing process!"

"I think audiences will be surprised that even though it was written
decades ago and takes place in the 1930s, the themes and characters feel
very authentic and relatable to today," said Brittany Smile (Amalia). She
Loves Me is a story that transcends time and gives us characters that
everyone can relate to in some way.

In the words of Steve Ingrassia (Sipos), "When you watch the show, try to
imagine yourself in similar situations to the characters, and see if you
would make the same sort of decisions that they do. Then, sit back and
enjoy the music, dialogue, scenery, costumes, and plot. Lose yourself for a
couple of hours and have a great time!" Tickets are on sale now at
geaugatheater.org. Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors and
students, and $10 for children 12 years of age and under. For any other
inquiries, you can also call 440-286-2255.
