GUIDELINES FOR VIRTUAL LEARNING

  * To respect privacy, when creating accounts for your student on platforms like Zoom, please refrain from using last names.
  * Do your best to ensure your student has a quiet space from which they can participate.
  * In group sessions, it is helpful if microphones are muted until it is time to participate. The teacher will unmute or mute microphones as they see fit.
  * Be mindful of device charge level- it may be best to plug in to ensure your device doesn’t run out of charge.
  * The student will have a better experience if they could use a tablet or a computer. The larger the screen- the better and easier the experience for your student.
  * It is helpful if the student is lit from the front where possible. Avoid back lighting wherever possible.
