 *On August 18, 1920, the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote was
adopted and was certified a few days later on August 26.  It was the
culmination of decades of struggle and this year we celebrate its 100th
Anniversary. * *Eden Valley salutes ALL the women who worked to gain the
vote for us all.*
