*A KILLER PARTY: A Murder Mystery Musical*

Spotlights’ 2021 Virtual Summer Youth Production

The Broadview Heights Spotlights 2021 virtual youth production is *A Killer
Party: A Murder Mystery Musical. *The show premiered digitally on August 5,
2020 as a fully-produced (from home) 9-episode Broadway star-studded
musical in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic. This hilarious and
irreverent send-up of the classic Murder Mystery features music by Jason
Howland, lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and a book by Kait Kerrigan and Rached
Axler. The Spotlights’ production will be co-directed by Tim Anderson and
Ryan Bergeron and co-produced by Karen Johnston and Peggy Newton.

Interested actors, ages 13-21, may submit a video audition through April 9,
2021. Rehearsals will begin mid-April via Zoom. Cast members will be asked
to pick up props and costumes at the Broadview Heights Spotlights building.
Some filming and recording may be conducted in-person, adhering to
appropriate health and safety guidelines.

The show will be available for streaming from June 18 – July 18 on
Showtix4u.com.

Note: The show contains mature themes and language, and those auditioning
and their parents should be familiar with the material before auditioning.
